Our story

We didn't set out to invent a new mithai. We set out to protect an old one from the sugar crash, the guilt, and the idea that health-conscious people have to leave Indian sweets behind.

Three years, four food scientists, and one very opinionated grandmother later, we cracked it: the same textures, the same festival-morning smell, rebuilt around protein instead of refined sugar.

Why it matters to us

Mithai has always been how South Asian families say congratulations, thank you, I'm thinking of you, and welcome home. We wanted the next generation to keep that language while still respecting their health goals.

Quality & testing

Every batch is made in small runs, baked rather than deep-fried, and sweetened with stevia instead of refined sugar. The protein, calorie, and sugar figures on each product page reflect our recipe formulations.
